July 2010: VGT & Grand Products form Strategic Alliance

Nashville, TN July 9, 2010 – Video Gaming Technologies, Inc.’s wholly-owned subsidiary, VGT
Manufacturing, Inc., and Grand Products Inc. announced today they have reached a preliminary
agreement to address new opportunities in the high-potential video gaming terminal market
in Illinois. VGT and Grand will collaborate to distribute VGT’s popular gaming terminals to
operators for placement at licensed bars, taverns, restaurants, truck stops and other licensed
venues that allow alcohol consumption. Pursuant to the non-exclusive agreement, VGT’s
machines will be sold and distributed by Grand Products to operators for placement at licensed
locations. Grand Products will also provide warehousing and service facilities including a
showroom that will allow prospective Illinois customers to familiarize themselves with VGT’s

VGT and Grand’s strategic alliance is non-exclusive and subject to the execution of a final
definitive agreement, which is expected to occur in the coming weeks.

In related news, VGT announced the opening of its Illinois office in Rolling Meadows, as well
as the hiring of James Macahon as Sales Account Manager along with Vanessa Cabrera as
Sales & Marketing Coordinator.
